Postdoctoral Associate

We are currently seeking highly motivated and independent postdocs to join the Emerling Lab to investigate the role of the phosphoinositide kinases in organelle communication and lipid metabolism using a variety of cancer model systems, including genetically engineered mouse models.


Candidates should have a recent PhD or MD/PhD degree and experience in cancer metabolism and/or mouse tumor models. Additional experience in cancer cell biology and cell signaling as well as with technologies including metabolomics is highly desirable.

Drug discovery/Cell biologist

Applicants should have a BS/BA degree in biological sciences and a minimum of 3 years of relevant lab experience and prior supervisory experience or MS/PhD degree in biological sciences and prior supervisory experience.


Candidates are expected to have a solid experimental and academic background in molecular biology and cell biology techniques. Knowledge of the drug discovery screening pipeline and microscopy preferred. The project for this position will entail the screening of inhibitor compounds.

Research Assistant

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a biological science, chemistry, physics or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained. Any experience working with laboratory mice including procedures such as genotyping by PCR amplification is preferred.
